How to prorate a fee for a Recurring Class?

Here's how to prorate a fee for a Recurring Class.

Step 1. Create a recurring class with a reduced price in the first month. For example, the recurring class starts on August 15, and the billing cycle is every 1st day of the month.

Step 2. Before the scheduled autopay, you have to change the fee to the full price. That way, the students will be billed for the full price on the second billing cycle and the succeeding billing cycles.

Notes: Students who booked in advance for the next billing cycle while the fee is still prorated, will pay the prorated amount, but you can charge the difference later on by creating an event and setting the fee to cover the price difference.

If for instance the student books for a recurring class in the middle of the month and were charged the full price. And supposedly they were to pay the prorated price, you can give them a refund as an account credit, which they can use as part of their payment for the next billing cycle.
